The Gond is the largest tribal group in India. Gaita Koitor (Far Western Muria) is one of the dialects of the Gondi language. Gaita Koitor (Muria Far Western) is a people group who live in central India. They are settled mainly in the Northern part of Gadchiroli district and Southern part of Gondia and Bhandara district of Maharashtra, in India. The language belongs to the Central Dravidian language family. Their population is approximately 4 lakhs.Following IFOBA standards Wycliffe Bible Translators have completed the New Testament translation in Gaita Koitor language.© WPT 2020
